Roxanne Legere

Anne is a New Orleans native. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Charleston, Charleston, SC.  Soon after graduation, Anne accepted a position with CNN in Atlanta. While working in the news industry, she found herself attending functions, events, and national meetings. After a while, she identified an unsettling trend at these events – a stunning lack of attention to the details that seemed obvious to her. Determined she could improve upon these formulaic events, Anne returned to Charleston and embarked on a career in event planning. For three years, Anne worked for a boutique meeting/event planning firm developing her skills and growing her professional experience.

Ultimately, Anne became certain this was the career for her to pursue and returned to New Orleans. Desirous of “doing it her way” and with a true entrepreneurial spirit, she resolved to open her own company. ARB Meetings and Events became the natural extension of Anne’s experiences.  She is the Founder and President of ARB. The company is built upon exacting attention to detail, client relationship building, and a profound understanding of her clients’ needs. These foundation principles have led to the development and growth of ARB, without sacrificing quality or budgetary constraints.

The team of professionals who help Anne run ARB are a part of the business she is most proud of. They share her passion, intellect, and commitment to excellence on behalf of ARB’s clients. Anne is committed to a “hands-on” approach while empowering staff to work in a positive and forward-thinking environment.  

Anne is currently the Board Chair of St. George’s Episcopal School and sits on the Executive Committee, JEDI Committee and Employee Advocacy and Engagement Committee. She also served as Vice-Chair of the Board of a local charter school for two years from 2006 to 2008.  She has also served on the Carnivale Committee for CADA (Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse for Greater New Orleans).  Anne is the proud mother of two sons, Louis and Wilson, who are the lights of her life.

Taylor is a New Orleans native and comes to ARB as the Associate Meeting & Project Coordinator. She has more than five years of experience in the Hotel and Hospitality Industry and has previously held positions as Front Office Manager and Sales Coordinator. In those roles, she developed skills in Communications, Client Management, and Project Management. She also has experience working with third-party partners in facilitating agreements and providing updates on initiatives. Taylor thrives in working in an environment that embraces efficiency, organization, and teamwork to achieve superior results for the Programs/Projects executed by the team. She is excited to apply her knowledge and experience to the role and will be managing registration, scholarships, and other logistics for ARB’s programming.

Chris is a motivated and passionate Conference and Meeting Planning Professional with more than 25 years of experience (full-time, contract, and consulting) covering the Non-Profit, Association, Government & Corporate markets in both the US and Europe.  He is an effective communicator and decision-maker who interfaces positively and professionally at all levels.  Always cool under pressure when managing multiple projects, with an infectious sense of humor, Chris is highly respected and trusted by his clients and peers throughout the industry.

Chris has a proven track record of producing results in highly pressurized environments that demand professionalism with honesty and perspective, and an ability to react quickly to ever-changing conditions while encouraging autonomy.  He prides himself on diplomacy, not one to hide behind emails, and encourages open and honest dialogue at every opportunity.   Chris is a HUGE believer in inclusivity versus exclusivity and has yet to meet a Senior Executive that he can’t work with.

As a passionate Welshman, his love of Wales, its culture, and of course its rich rugby history is unsurpassed, some would argue almost to the point of obsession! That being said, his cultural side is balanced with a love of music and the arts and he is always kept in check by his awesome wife and son.

Roxanne serves as Communications and Program Manager and has extensive administrative, logistics, design, and customer service experience within military, private, and non-profit fields. Her passion for systems and communication comes from a life-long obsession with improving the way we interact with our surroundings and each other.  An optimist at heart, she believes a good sense of humor is the key to a happy life. She is also an avid creator and loves to paint, as well as build costumes, props, and anything that promotes festivity and fun.

An Army veteran and New Orleans native, Roxanne has worked in various roles – from being a professional artist to event management to overseeing e-commerce and wholesale businesses. She has also traveled the country providing merchandise support for obstacle course races, happily getting muddy along the way.  

Roxanne is a solutions-oriented person who is always looking for ways to streamline processes and make them more efficient. She brings a creative edge and background in design, making her a central player on the ARB team.

Stephen has over 20 years of experience in the industry, and he brings his vast knowledge and ability to solve any problem to his role as Director of Digital Experience & Sponsorships. With a strong background in creative writing, sales, and digital marketing, what makes Stephen such an integral part of the team is his love of the power of personal interactions and the latest technology to deepen the ties that hold a growing community together. He is responsible for overseeing the digital footprint and managing the sponsor and exhibitor experience. Stephen has a relentless work ethic and a tireless passion for everything he does.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris Greenslade and the ARB team on the November 2021 NAMD Annual Conference at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel.  We began the planning process in the Spring of 2021 in a constantly evolving climate.  This was to be the largest in-person conference for both the venue and ARB since the pandemic began.  There was a lot of focus on ensuring we had a safe, successful event!

From our initial dialogue, Chris created a culture of transparency and strong communication between us.  He outlined expectations and needs for him/his team and the client and asked the same from me and the hotel.  We discussed planning timelines and he proactively communicated the most important factors for our client to ensure a successful event.  It was refreshing to start off the planning process with such a strong foundation with both ARB and the Hotel working towards the same goal.

Chris is always a true professional. He remains patient and brings a sense of humor, especially when it’s needed most! He understands the art of balancing the needs of the client, his planning team, the Hotel, and the many vendors involved in a complex conference.  The ARB team is incredibly detail-oriented and ensures even the smallest details aren’t overlooked.  I can’t say enough wonderful things about the ARB team – their work ethic and the true passion they have for planning successful events.  And yes, the NAMD Annual Conference was a success! 

The Renaissance team loved working with Chris and the entire ARB team on site.  They are professional, patient, communicative and helped navigate the inevitable on-site changes and hiccups with understanding and flexibility.   It was a pleasure partnering with ARB and I look forward to working with them again soon.
