Alex Sheshunoff

Alex Sheshunoff came to ARB with a vision to launch a series of round table meetings with some of the most prominent bank CEOs in the country.

Mr. Sheshunoff has been one of the leading names in the banking industry providing professional services and solutions to financial institutions for over 30 years and was eager to launch his Partnership for Banking Excellence program. While Alex knew exactly what he wanted, he did not have a clear vision for implementation and that is where ARB stepped in. ARB worked with Alex and the Partnership for Banking Excellence on the following:

  • Identified a list of premiere hotels and resorts that would be the right fit for bank executives
  • Recruited participants for the meeting
  • Developed content and meeting materials
  • Oversaw all logistical planning including – hotel, ground transportation, food and beverage, off-site dinners and on-site management

Federated Sample

In 2013, the management team of Federated Sample had a bright idea – they wanted to host the first ever sampling conference to bring together buyers and sellers within the industry. What they didn’t know, however, was just how to pull something like that off.

Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold

Freeport-McMoran Copper and Gold’s Amax Metals Recovery, Inc. was in search of an event management firm to oversee the planning of their Awards Ceremony and Open House event.

The challenge ARB faced was that the event was to be held in an old, unused industrial warehouse. The event was a celebration of the remediation and renovation of a once contaminated property. ARB was successful in transforming the warehouse into a corporate venue where the awards ceremony and a high-end luncheon were held.

Piramal Imaging

ARB began working with Piramal Imaging only two months before they wanted to host a company launch party at a large medical conference in Miami.

ARB was short on time and was given an exhaustive list of tasks to accomplish.  At the time, Piramal Imaging was a young company and internal resources were limited.  ARB managed all aspects of the launch party from graphic design and marketing to venue selection, and everything in between.  The launch party was a success beyond what the Piramal Imaging team had envisioned.  As such, ARB’s relationship with Piramal Imaging has continued and now includes managing Advisory Boards and other events.

RadMD came to ARB with their client, Piramal Imaging. They had decided to host a company launch party at a large medical conference two months before the event.

RadMD knew the team at ARB could pull off such a feat.  ARB was given an exhaustive list of tasks and a short time frame to accomplish them.  Our team managed every deliverable from graphic design and marketing to venue selection, and everything in between.  Piramal Imaging and RadMD were hoping for a turnout of 50 guests. Senior Helpers

Senior Helpers knew ARB could give their meeting attendees a first-hand experience of what the culture and sounds of New Orleans are all about.

Senior Helpers was hosting their annual conference in New Orleans and needed support on the ground to secure local entertainment. ARB was selected by their marketing team to manage the entertainment for their three signature events of the conference.  ARB was successful in creating and implementing a theme that embodied the true New Orleans experience for attendees.

ARB achieved this by:
  • Securing a quintessentially New Orleans band for the conference’s kick-off event
  • Delivering Dragon Master Showcase, a local break dancing troop, to turn what would be an otherwise sleepy, early morning session into a high-energy, unique and electrifying morning
  • Organizing a mini Mardi Gras parade and “second line”, a traditional brass band parade, from the conference hotel to the House of Blues for over 350 people.

ARB masterfully organized all of the moving pieces and ensured that when the conference was over, the attendees’ time in New Orleans was one they would never forget.

This success translated into ARB’s expanded role for the Senior Helpers 2012 Annual Conference.

The Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF)

ARB assisted The Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF) in the planning and overall execution of their bi-annual donor appreciation event, New Orleans Now.

GNOF is a non-profit organization who serves as a philanthropic partner to members of the donor community throughout Greater New Orleans and the surrounding region. Every two years GNOF hosts a donor appreciation event, New Orleans Now, for over 300 of New Orleans most notable civic leaders and philanthropists.  ARB worked with GNOF to assist with the overall planning and execution of their New Orleans Now event.

ARB worked with the Volunteers of America in supporting their 2008 annual conference in New Orleans for over 1,000 attendees.

ARB was retained to provide support services for several components of their annual conference in New Orleans. As local experts, ARB was able to give the Volunteers of America conference planners an added level of confidence that their attendees would not only experience a flawless conference but would also experience all of the charm and beauty of New Orleans.

ARB was responsible for:
  • Coordinating a one-day community outreach project for over 300 conference attendees; responsibilities included vetting community projects, coordinating with project staff, coordinating volunteers, transportation and meals
  • Providing 10 different tour options and transportation over four days for all conference attendees, spouses and guests
  • Managing entertainment for the conference Welcome Reception at the Aquarium of the Americas for 400 people; entertainment included Mardi Gras Indians, a brass band and scone line, a gospel choir and a party band
